‘What’s happening to physiological birth?’
In a time when we are told that we have such healthy and strong bodies, and when the social environmental conditions of cleanliness, and attention to health provales…
Why is it that at least half of women need surgery to give birth?
Why are well under 10 percent of women giving birth spontaneously and physiologically?
Why is it that our bodies apparently are so unable to birth as a natural course of our feminine life cycle?
Why has our body's natural birthing knowledge and inner knowing left us?
Why do women continually feel that they were unable to birth the way their bodies were intended to do? And what has caused the erosion and belief that our bodies are broken and have failed us?
And why oh why
When a sister has a powerful birthing experience is she told that she was ‘lucky’ but feels a sense of resistance to share or stays silent not returning to Motherhood in her radiant glory as she should?
Exploring our ancestral red thread~our Mother line ~ and our birthing HERSTORY. We will connect with our severed connection to our feminine birthing power, resilience & strength. We will be confronting the illusion of the broken feminine and explore our own birthing blueprint and the stories and beliefs we carry that childbirth is dangerous.
Working with healing our birthing beliefs, stories and past birth experiences is an important step in changing the birthing narrative for our daughters and granddaughters.
About Kemi & Samsara
Samsara Tanner
I am changing woman, Mother, Grandmother and Birthkeeper. Moving through the thresholds of my final cycle of womanhood. Walking barefoot close to Mother Earth, listening to her whispers as she speaks to my blood and bones. I listen to what I am asked to tend and hold.
